Hello,

I use the following setup in Osegarden since I checked that Rosegarden

jackd -d alsa -d hw -r44100 -p 4096 -n 4

Please advise.
Changes of noise are minimally better, but still not acceptable.

Hi,

Improvement is always good :-)

Try

 jackd -d alsa -d hw:0 -r 44100 -p 4096 -n3 -i2 -o2

If you're running an rt kernel also add the switches -R -P70 (running jack in realtime and at priority 70).

If you're not running an rt kernel, I strongly suggest installing one. It's invalueable for audio work.
