In the notation editor, when converting three existing
notes into a triplet a new rest is automatically
created after the triplet to fill the gap caused by a
triplet being of shorter duration than the original
three notes. There should be an option that would avoid
creating the new rest by making all of the following
notation be moved backwards in time. The edit cursor
should also be moved forwards automatically to be just
after the triplet and in front of the next unconverted
note. This would mean you could create long sequences
of triplets efficiently, i.e. without having to do a
Cut-and-Close operation to remove the rest after
creating each triplet and with fewer manual movements
of the edit cursor.
