Hi Hackers! I need to work with the icub's touch sensors, however I have a problem. It seems that, on Windows 7, I can read the sensors' data, because if I give: yarp read /reader /icubSim/skin/left_hand And the robot touches an object there is a reaction in the numbers. However the gui does not react. I followed the instructions on http://eris.liralab.it/wiki/Simulator_README#TOUCH_SENSORS: giving: icubskingui --from righthand.ini --useCalibration But no window shows up. The error I get is the following: ||| policy set to ICUB_ROOT ||| ICUB_ROOT: C:\Programs\Development\robotology\iCub\applications ||| loading policy from C:\Programs\Development\robotology\iCub\applications/ICU B_ROOT.ini ||| default config file specified as righthand.ini ||| checking righthand.ini ||| checking C:\Programs\Development\robotology\iCub\applications/app/skinGui/co nf/skinGui/righthand.ini ||| checking /conf/righthand.ini ||| checking C:\Programs\Development\robotology\iCub\applications/app/default/co nf/righthand.ini ||| did not find righthand.ini yarp: cannot read from righthand.ini YARP version: reading data from a Yarp port (iCubSkinGui.exe:5528): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_window_resize: assertion `width > 0 ' failed yarp: Port /skinGui/:i active at tcp://127.0.0.1:10177 Using calibrated skin values (0-255) Using red as default color. SkinMeshThreadPort initialising... ... done! Waiting for port connection If I give simply: icubskingui --useCalibration I get the window for the left hand but it is unresponsive to sensors feedback (I still collect right data from the textual input). If I try to connect the gui to the ports by giving: yarp connect /icubSim/skin/lefthand /skinGui/left_hand:i I get: Failure: could not find source port /icubSim/skin/lefthand No major changes if I run: icubskingui --useCan Does anybody has a clue of what I'm doing wrong?
