Hello Hector, simWholeBodyTorqueObserver was completed in last VVV, it was under contrib. If you search in the mailing list, you'll find old messages saying that it is encouraged to use it just to emulate the force/torque sensors, and to connect the virtual force/torque sensors directly to wholeBodyDynamics (ex - wholeBodyTorqueObserver) which is compliant for both icub and simulator.
