Hi,

Can you please add support for Gentoo Linux "Base System Release 2.0"? I submit no hashes as i guess they are not relevant for Gentoo.

Thanks,

Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

The necessity for downloading updated hashes or running 'hashupd' was something of the 1.2 series. In the 1.3 series that is replaced with using "--propupd". Version 1.3.2 was released at the start of this year and I suggest you update to that version because it has many more improvements.

    Best regards, unSpawn

Yes at the moment i am using 1.2.9. Unfortunately 1.3.2 is not available at the moment within Gentoo. Though there is a bug about bumping it. As far as I know 1.3.2 does not support Gentoo Linux too, or am I wrong?

    Regards,

    Daniel

Yes, version 1.3.2 supports about any GNU/Linux distribution. Unless you require a Gentoo-built package you can install from the tarball without problems. If you need to track it save the installer's output or use Installwatch or equivalent. Thanks, case closed.
