With xinetd you can enable a service either by setting "disabled = no" or simply by removing the "disabled = yes" line.
rkhunter 1.4.0 only searches for "disabled = no".
On the contrary, the proposed patch checks whether or not there's a line containing "disabled = yes" and negates the result.

    We can't accept the patch as it is ('-q' certainly doesn't work on some UNIX systems), but do accept that there is a bug in the code. I'll see about a fix before the next release.

    This has now been fixed (hopefully) in CVS. It should check for enabled services correctly, and will make use of the 'defaults' section as well (if it exists).
