[ReZound-users] weird curved gain From: Pamplemousse Mk2 - 2006-04-26 20:35:06 Hello, I use Rezound 0.12.0beta, with 16bit int type for temp files. I tries to = =20 use curved gain. Like LeVA who had posted the same problem last year, whe= n =20 using 001 Curved fade out, the sound is muted. When using other profiles = =20 like linear fade out, there is no problem. I have tried to draw my own curved fade out with just 3 points, the sound= =20 is muted too. When drawing a fade out with only 2 points (ie a linear fad= e =20 out), there is no problem. Last test: I draw a curve with 4 points. First and last are set at the =20 gain 1.0. The 2nd is placed at 1/3 of the curve and at gain max (2.0 in m= y =20 case), the 3rd is placed at 2/3 of the curve and at gain min. We get a =20 curved like this: * / \ / \ * \ * \ / \ / * Curiously, when applying this curve, I get a linear fade in. And to =20 finish, linear fade in and curved fade in seems to have same results. Gain curved seems to have a bug. Bye. --=20 Pamplemousse Mk2 Listen to the DJ mixes of Pamplemousse Mk2 aka Sun Wukong at http://pamplemousse.mk2.free.fr and on Radio404.org
