hi, In trying to follow the instructions on this page: http://repast.sourceforge.net/plugin-installation.html to download the EMF components, i went to the Europa Discovery Center, as the png here seems to indicate: http://repast.sourceforge.net/img/install_plugin_emf.PNG but the list of things i see to select is not the same as the list show in the above png, as you can see here: http://cscs.umich.edu/~rlr/Misc/Screenshot-europa-iu-20071230.png On the far right is the PNG from sourceforge, and just to its left is what i see. in particular some things are just not there (eg EMF Runtime and End-User Tools) and the versions are different on the things that are there. (I used the first mirror offered, Indiana Univ). So... a) where does one get the things listed in your picture but not listed when i use the Europa site? b) will those minor version differences matter? In addition, I have a suggestion -- i don't know if its feasible, but if so, it would be really useful: somehow make the grabbing/installation of all this stuff in the tool chain a bit more automated and less uncertain for the repastS users. Eg, Is there some way to bundle all that is needed in some zip (getting the same versions you use) and load it all into eclipse from that one zip? Or barring that, can you use the command line update mechanism which i believe eclipse provides, and put the command to use in a sh script, using some script variables defined at the top of the script to specify local locations for things? thanks, - r On Dec 28, 2007 1:54 PM, North, Michael <no...@an...> wrote: > Rick: > > Good points!
