RemoteCalendars has stopped working for me. In the
beginning, I had two google calendars "pushed" (no
two-way sync) to my outlook calendar. However, during
two weeks both are not any longer available and error
messages "Object reference not set to an instance of an
object" occur.

To check the problems, I have created an empty google
calendar and an empty outlook calendar I try to
subscribe the google calendar to the outlook calendar.
This does not work and "Object reference not set to an
instance of an object" occurs.

You can try the url of the google calendar: its

I am experiencing the same issue. I am guessing the Google
Calendar maintenance involved changes to the format but
that's just a guess. This should definitely be considered
a high priority fix! Thanks :)

I'm also still getting this error. It only occurs if i do
syncronisation in both directions. Only feeding the calendar
    seems to work.

Hmmm...it's strange...did you check if you had strange
    reccuring events?

Yes i checked, there have been _no_ events except 2 simple
ones on the calendar and it also didn't work. What's the
    problem with reccuring events?

    Hi,
recurring events are the hardest to check, as there are
plenty of possible recurring rules...it may be possible that
you've got a recurring rule which RC doesn't fully recognized...
Could you post me the iCalendar?

Sorry, it doesn't exist any more but i think the usecases
for reccuring events (in Google Calendar) shouldn't be that
    much to test?

    Hi,
I'll try to explain...RC subscribe iCalendars. For Google
    Calendar, it works this way:
--it creates an Appointment my recognizing the iCalendar
--it then saves a particular google url, used for the 2-way
sync (this doesn't happen if you sync normally...)...in
order to do so, RC checks which is the Entry in the feed
    containing the same data...
Start,End, Where are simpleto check...recurring rules not
(because of the many cases...)...I believe I've covered all
of them, however the "Object not set to a reference" is at
90% referred to the recurrence rule...

This is for sure a recurring event problem. It seems when I
have an event recurring and I set a recurring until date in
google calendar, then the "Object reference bla bla bla ..."
    error would occur.

    Hi,
alright, please post me exactly what kind of event you're
making (start date, end date, type of recurrence...) so I'll
be able to reproduce it ;)
    Bye

Here is the way to reproduce the problem:

    1. Add a new recurring event with an end date at the google
calendar. In my example I added an recurring event on July
    10th at 1pm recurring until August 1st.

    2. Add this calendar to remotecalendar in outlook. Use a
separate folder if possible (e.g. test)

    3. At this point, the calendar should still sync both ways
    successfully.

    4. Add a description to the first occurrence of the event
(on July 10th) in google calendar, and when the pop-up asks
whether you want to update only this instance of the event,
make sure you select "only this instance".

    5. Now when you try to reload the calendar in outlook, the
"object reference not set to an instance of an object" error
    would occur.

    Hope this helps

Sorry for the late answer, but I've got back from
holidays...and exams are next week :)
However, it's quite interesting, so I'll try it as soon
possible (and I'll try to get why it doesn't work)
