I have been using Regina on NT for a while now but I
need to install it on a Solaris box and run it there
as well.

Where do I look to get the instructions on how to do
this? I have virtually no knowledge of using Solaris
or any unix environment.

Any sor of help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been able to build Regina from source on Solaris 2.7
(SPARC), but I'm having problems running it.

Download the source, run the "configure" script, then run
"make" followed by "make install" to install it.

    Peace.....

Well, I FINALLY got Regina 3.0 working on my Solaris 2.7
(SPARC) machine. The problem was due to multi-threading.
Even though I built Regina as a single-threaded library, I
was linking to DB2 libraries which were multi-threaded and
that caused my app to hang when Regina tried to open the
REXX CMD file (fopen itself was hanging).

Once I compiled my app as a multi-threaded app, everything
    worked fine.

    Peace.....

    Tom
