I downloaded Regina 3.3 to WinXP and wrote a program that reads an input file and writes an output file.
The file names are passed as input on the command line and parsed with
PARSE VALUE ARG(1) WITH INFILE ',' OUTFILE
including embedded blanks in the file names.
The program reads all input data with
INCHAR = CHARIN(INFILE) /* READ 1 CHAR */
I took the program to a PC with Win2000,
and the CHARIN function returns no data
(null string) if the file name has a blank.
When I renamed the file to have no blanks,
CHARIN read data.
Any idea why?
