#66 Option to edit Disk icons and Titles

First and foremost: GREAT WORK! Thank you very much.

It would be great if there was an option to edit the disk icons and disk names in the rEFIt screen. for example when triple booting in to Vista & XP etc. all windows disks look the same right now! also a CD Eject option would be very nice touch as it is a nightmare to get the cd out without an OS

There's already an open feature request for ejecting CDs. It appears Apple has published a custom API to do this, I just need to find the time to implement the feature in rEFIt.

Making icons and captions editable within the rEFIt menu would be quite hard. You can customize icons today by placing .icns files with the appropriate names in /efi/refit/icons. rEFIt can distinguish between XP and Vista, and if you add a os_winvista.icns you can have different icons today.

Improving display of disk names / partition numbers is pretty high on the priority list. Unfortunately, with practically zero time available to work on rEFIt at all, that doesn't mean much.

Is there a way to remove the terminal and other icons from the user interface to prevent user from accessing these option. Also is there a way to add a company logo/ declaimer banner as a background wallpaper.
