i have 3 NTFS partitions on my mackbook, and 2 of them contain a windows. But refit listed all of them every time, i think it would be better if i can hide the other one.
it would be even better if i can set a default icon.

thanks

Discussion

  • I would like to second dynamic partition hiding.

  • I would like to be able to hide all of the redundant "legacy OS" icons that appear on startup, but all just boot the same Windows install

  • We also have this problem too , we have a 3 way split system part1 = osx part2 = empty ntfs part part 3=winxp
the issue is when we use legacyfirst it will put the blank data part as the boot drive attempt to boot and hang with a \ displayed on the screen , why are ntfs disks detected as boot drives even if they dont contain windows ?

A way to hide individual partitions would solve this problem and cause less confusion for the user.

Did anyone find a workaround ?

Would like at least to specify default boot partition, so it doesn't keep on booting empty data partition (when using legacyfirst), as obvioussly BootCamp puts Windows last (go figure)

    IMPORTANT!
