I've tried installing Refit 0.14 on my 2010 MacBook Pro i7 a few times with Fedora 14, and after installing, booting to OSX is periodically slow, or will freeze entirely. Booting to Fedora is fine, no problems. Sometimes OSX will boot fine, other times the spinning wheel spins for 10 minutes and then it boots, other times it just freezes. I've also noticed, that after booting a couple times the hard disk reports errors. such as follows:

Invalid volume file count
(It should be 378744 instead of 378678)
Invalid volume directory count
(It should be 124630 instead of 124619)
Invalid volume free block count
(It should be 178170399 instead of 178173149)
Volume header needs minor repair
The volume MacDaddy was found corrupt and needs to be repaired.

I can use the OSX CD disk Utility to repair them, and everything goes back to normal for a little while... But after a few more reboots, the same problem reoccurs.

Any suggestions?
thanks!

Verify that your MBR and GPT are in sync.

    Use the following commands:
    sudo fdisk /dev/rdisk0
    sudo gpt -r show -l /dev/disk0

and verify that that start and size of each partition in the MBR is the same as in the GPT.
