when option booting a machine with 2 internal and 1 external drive all partitioned several times, all bootable volumes on all drives show up. In the rEFIt boot menu however, only the bootable volumes of internal drives show up, the external drive and all it's volumes are ignored for some reason. It also shows 2 windows volumes which is not only not true as there is only one, but impossible as far as I know to even accomplish. On lab systems with simple dual boot setup there has never been an issue, I just decided to use rEFIt on a development system with many setup volumes and find it simply does not work as expected. I did not configure the conf file to ignore external volumes, so no that's not the issue, this is a vanilla install other than changing the timeout to 0.
