I've installed 3 OSes as such:
1: efi
2: OS X
3: Fedora Core 6
4: Windows XP SP2

I can see and boot both OSX and Windows at the refit boot screen. I can't seem to get the Linux partition to show up at all.

diskutil list says:
/dev/disk0
#: type name size identifier
0: GUID_partition_scheme *149.1 GB disk0
1: EFI 200.0MB disk0s1
2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 48.7GB disk0s2
3: Microsoft Basic Data 50.0GB disk0s3
4: Microsoft Basic Data 50.0GB disk0s4

gptsync.efi says (just number and type):
GPT
# Type
1 EFI
2 Mac OS X HFS+
3 Basic Data
4 Basic Data

EFI
# Type
1 EE EFI Protective
2 AF Mac OS X HFS+
3 83 Linux
4 07 NTFS (This one is also marked active.)

I've seen posts from others claiming this works. Is this a problem related to the brand new macbook pros? What should I try next?

Well this seems to be a bug in FC6. After booting a rescue disk and playing with dd, it was obvious that grub was NOT installed. I ran grub-install and everything works great.

Okay, I was about to suggest you're missing the bootloader.
