      Where do you have GET URLs that include the full abstract? There are in fact forms that need to submit large chunks of text (e.g. those of 'extract.php' and 'record.php') but their transport mechanism should be set to POST, not GET. By default, the Suhosin variable 'suhosin.post.max_value_length' is set to 65000.

    • suhosin.get.max_value_length  1024

      Import Records(Textfield) -> [Import]

      Abstract lenght 2869 Char
      REsult empty Abstract field

      suhosin.get.max_value_length  4096

      abstracts imported

      • Ah, good catch. This only happens, when you're importing a *single* record, since, in that case, import data are only parsed and then routed via GET to the "Add Record" form ('record.php'). Importing multiple records at once doesn't have this problem since the data are imported directly.

        I'll address this issue.

        Thanks, Matthias
