i can record my desktop without problems but when i try to play it it plays ilke booom waay tooo fast, i mean it plays the file in less than 2 seconds… what can be causing the problem?? please help me. :(
I'm having this exact same problem :-( It worked fine when I used Slackware 13.0 but after doing a fresh install of Slackware 13.1 it started to do this!
I have this problem too. Using gentoo and the version 0.3.8.1-r3 .
I have this problem as well in Ubuntu 10.04, but only when using -on-the-fly-encoding.
I have the same problem in that the screen plays faster than the sound if I encode on the fly.

rpm -qa | grep record
Does anyone know of a work around other than turning that off?
