    Hi,
I´m quite new to RecordEditor so forgive a possibly stupid question.
I´m working on CSV files and files with fixed width. Both have a simple layout (one record one line)

I´d like to do something like "update table set column_a = 'bla'" for all columns.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks Stefan

    OK, found my solution.
    Search and Replace. Sorry folks.

Currently the find does not have any pattern matching so you can do

    update table set column_a = 'bla' where column_a ='xyz'

If you are using version 0.95, the Other option is to write a Script - Utilities >>> Script Test Panel

There are some notes on scripting in the How to manual (look in the Windows / Linux menu or in the Help menu in the RecordEditor)
