Hi, since this week, some members of my team and myself from the rtb framework
are responsible to maintain the realtime battle sourceforge project together
Our primary goals in the nearer future are:
- update the web site content (add new created documentation from the source
analysis group of rtb-team, update existing documentation, update links
section, add sample robots to the page)
-fix the most serious bugs in version 1.0.6 (if you take a look in the bug
tracker, you will see, that our work has already started)
- release a new version with the bug fixes applied
- release one version of rtb together with our team framework (of course,
realtime battle will stay absolutely independent from rtb-team)
- continue the CVS 1 branch of realtime battle
We do not mainly concentrate on the rtb 2.0 version (that is Benoit's goal)
but we will do everything to make version 1 function perfectly everywhere and
that action in the project will start again.
Perhaps, when the results of the analysis group of rtb-team are complete, we
can start improving version one step by step (reworking part of part,
refactor the code, ...)
For our bugfix release, we need your help. Please report all remaining bugs of
version 1.0.6 in the sf bug tracker, after you have checked, that this bug is
not already reported or in the pending stage. Patches are welcome.
If you want to contribute to our goals and or the goals of the rtb-team group
or you want to give us any hints / comments, feel free to contact me.
