I just saw robocode and I wonder if it would be
possible not just to see "straight ahead" but
implementing a scan-radius for the robots?

It should be possible to do it on RTB 2... but this project is a
    bit sleeping right now :-(

Spent half a day to lurk out why scan angle always is 0. But
now it serams like a scan radius isn't implemented, ie, you
can just scan stright ahed from the scaner.

Without eaven information about in which direction the enemy
left your scaner it is quite inpossible to track him and
    shoot him down.

Maybe you could write a ton of code to make it sweap like a
IRL radar, and try to determine how to stear, but I am a bit
    lazy now. :D

At least you could inform users that the scan area is a
verry narrow line, which cant tell where in the scan area
    the robots, are.

Since RTB 2.0 was discontinued and we will try not to change
the protocol, a scan radius won't be implemented at the
    moment.
