I'm looking to configure a rdesktop machine on top of a new redhat 8.0
install (for my mother!). She basically has two offices with the main XP
machine been housed at one location.
We are installing a second machine at the other office and I would like to
use rdesktop. So - I'd like to use rdesktop to make this happen as opposed
to another (difficult to maintain) XP build. I live out of town so would
like to make my job as easy as possible :)
Now, the only limitation I can see so far is local file access (not to
worried about this) and local printer access(This is important) With the
Microsoft Remote Desktop implementations I can map local printers apon
startup....is this supported within rdesktop?
Also, what sort of bandwidth does rdesktop use if the remote machine was
sitting at the login prompt on a daily basis?
Any help appreciated....
