I'm a newbie here but have been playing with Thinstation and came across a
problem that I think is rdesktop related.
We use a logon scripting tool to map printers based on IP address, or more
accurately Terminal Server Client IP.
Now, we're not sure how it gets this information, but it then decides what
printers that RDP client should get based in the IP provided.
The problem is that this works with a standard RDP client on XP to Windows
Server 2003, but not with Thinstation using rdesktop.
I know the info provided above is a bit vague, but has anyone ever tried this
before, or came across the problem and succeeded?
The setup is in the office and I'm at home so I cant do much testing right now,
but I was wondering if the rdesktop command line parameter "-n <hostname>" would
make a difference, even though the rdesktop docs say that it should forward this
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we're demoing this tomorrow morning :-)
