We are writing a product that uses rdp. Currently we use the Microsoft ocx
control and works well but we would love to have something with a bit more
control, also we would love to have a mac version; we have customers buying
virtual pc on a mac just to use our product. I have a prototype of our
product using properjavardp and it works pretty well however it doesn't
support rdp 5.0 and maybe I'm wrong but that's needed for virtual channels?
Which is something we use. Also there are some things that proper java rdp
wasn't designed for, like disconnecting and reconnecting without the frame
going away, or maybe it was and I was playing with the wrong part of the
Anyways, there are a few other reasons and always the main one is that when
I test some product we might use I like to test three or four products not
just two, especially when one of them is just too expensive.
