I know I should not cross post my message but I think it was more a devel
thing than some usage/installation issue.
I have been trying to find a solution for some time but I'm kind of
I have the right keyboard (using the map 0x1009) setting when I log into a
RDP session but the Local setting are wrong. Where do I setup my Local
setting (that should be 0x0c0c) ?

Could you explain this a little better? I'm not sure if I understand
what you want.
I would like to do more testing before but... Here is my situation problem..
I have created my own keyboard map called french canada (0x1009). It is
quite different than the french canadian keyboard provided with rdesktop.
The keyboard provided by rdesktop is the canadian multilingual one...
So to make my keyboard work correctly, I map 0x1009 in my keayboard
setting... Everyhting is fine... Keyboard works perfecly with this layout
and is you want it to distribute it with rdesktop, I'll send it over...
For over 6 months I have been using this layout and noticed that my input
Language is English. so if I go into local setting, I see
[EN] Englis Canada
- French canada
I didn't bother me since I can read English without to much problem... But
one annoying thing for my user is that some program (such as Word) do take
care of this setting and, for example, configure automatically the default
grammar and spelling tool to English.
If I use the 0x0c0c map, I get the following
[FR] French Canada
-French Canada Multilingual
and my keyboad doesn't correctly map...
The M$ RDP client must send both info (input language and keyboard) since it
does work correctly...
Thanks for helping out... Really really appreciate..
