Uninstall Flash :o) Do you have compression enabled? It's the -z option. Also, -P sometimes helps a bit. -----Original Message----- From: rde...@li... Subject: [rdesktop-devel] Limiting Used Bandwidth Hi, a customer uses rdesktop 1.4.1 on Linux clients and if he works on a terminal session with e.g. Internet Explorer and there are changing graphics like Flash animations, the consumed bandwidth is high, no matter what -x* setting is used or whether lokal bitmap caching is active or not. The problem is that the connection between two company sites gets saturated just by the rdesktop clients which did not happen before when Citrix ICA had been used (old server farm). Any hints?
