[rdesktop-devel] How to set up a packet sniffing setup?

Hi all,

Me and two friends want to analyse some of the unknown fields in several
rdp commands and look into rdp 5 and 5.1 commands.

This requires sniffing packets from an rdp 5 and rdp 5.1 connection.

But for that I have to disable compression and encryption. Is this
possible in the client config and the server config?

Anyone have some pointers on doing this?

I'm planning on using ethereal to sniff the packets. Has anyone done some
development on a protocol plugin?

Any input is greatly appreciated!
