As I stated, I do not have that option in that location. I have edited the value in the registry and now it works perfectly. Thanks for your time and response :-)

It is a statement of fact of the two locations to look at.

TRY: Admin Tools: Terminal Services Configuration, The connector, Right-Click, Properties (If I remember correctly).

I'm sorry -- is that a question? I'm not really sure what you're talking about. A Google search for "remote server GPO" didn't return anything that looked particularly useful, and I guess Terminal Services Configuration is what I'm looking for, but I can't find it where some sites say it is located (Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Terminal Services Configuration).

Remote server GPO or Terminal Services Configuration.

Hello -- I am trying to determine whether I have a configuration problem
on the remote machine, the local machine, or if rdesktop simply does not
support 24-bit color?

I get the following message, connecting from rdesktop 1.6 on Fedora 9 to
Windows XP SP3:
WARNING: Remote desktop does not support colour depth 24; falling back to 16

I am using the following command:
rdesktop -z -x lan -a 24 -g 1280x999

Any suggestions? The warning message wasn't clear to me whether the
problem was local or remote.
