Remote system: xrdp, single display
Local system: dual screen, KDE 4.9.3
rdesktop connects from the local system to the remote X-RDP server at full screen mode, a login screen appears right in the middle of both displays. One part of the login is at the left display and the other is at the right display. After successful login the second (right) display is blacked and the left display is actually displaying the remote system screen.
May be it's a good idea to add a switch telling rdesktop what display to occupy. At the moment it renders the second local display unusable despite the fact that the remote system lacks the second remote display.
The only solution at the moment is KRDC which works correctly occupying only left screen in full screen mode leaving the right screen as is. But KRDC is messed up with keyboard and can only serve as a temporary solution.
