Hello,

we use rdesktop with thinstation. When a user logs in to a standard windows machine, the system remembers the username. This does not work with thinstation and rdekstop because the machines are diskless and we don't allow usb-sticks to store the configuration. The only place to store this information is on the tftp server the clients boot from. Would it be possible to add this funtionality to rdekstop:
- when a user logs in to windows via rdesktop, rdesktop should send this machinename/username information to a server. This way on the linux server we could have a daemon that gets this information an stores it for the next time the user logs in to this machine. Is should be possible to pass the name of the server to contact as a parameter.

Thanks
Andreas
