    Hi all,

    I am having problems with rakarrack giving a segmentation fault at startup. If it start jack first, then i only get this in command line:

    $ rakarrack
    rakarrack 0.5.8_Equinox - Copyright (c) Josep Andreu - Ryan Billing - Douglas McClendon - Arnout Engelen
    Try 'rakarrack --help' for command-line options.
    Segmentation fault

    If i don't start jack first I get:

    $ rakarrack
    rakarrack 0.5.8_Equinox - Copyright (c) Josep Andreu - Ryan Billing - Douglas McClendon - Arnout Engelen
    Try 'rakarrack --help' for command-line options.

    If I run jack and rakarrack as root then everything works fine.

    Hi

    The  FLTK toolkit .. has a known bug when hi try to find the available fonts, is the only known bug that we have at the start momment, is something related about the font configuration, few people has this bug, maybe is you problem, without more info that is not sure..

    To fix that you need to compile, but before run the "make" command  go to the "src" directory in the sources and run:

    sed  /set_fonts/'s/^/\/\//' rakarrack.cxx > lololo ; mv lololo rakarrack.cxx

    then run make.

    Another way to fix is copy the "root" font configuration to your user, I meant the $HOME/.fonts.conf  and $HOME/.fontconfig  or try to run the fc-cache again ….. that's not sure too
