#1 Render flashes for only a split second then remains black

The area where the molecule render appears will flash up for only a split second when loading a PDB file, then it will remain black. Rotating the molecule will also cause the same to happen.

Using:

Windows Vista Ultimate
ATI Mobility Radeon X1800 - latest drivers.

    I think I kwow what this is: QuteMol renders still images to an offscreen buffer (larger than the sceen) in order to achieve downsampling. It must be that in your card this offsceen buffer becomes too large. A way to fix this would
    be to lower the parameter in the config file, setting

    STILL_QUALITY = 100

    This will prevent the problem (but also disable antialiasing).

    Did this fix it? The next version will detect that.

    Yes, setting 'STILL_QUALITY = 100' resolves the problem and my files render and are smoothly moveable, but as you said, antialiasing is disabled (around the atoms).
