hi - i have some problems with the console messages in recent csoundqt (built from git). just the very end of the usual csound console output is shown (say 20 lines), the rest is skipped. this is on linux (ubuntu studio 12.04). on a mac it seems to be ok, so i am wondering if there is any hidden preference which is causing this. (just to note that i have set the console message buffer to 'no limit'.) do other linux user experience this problem? best - joachim |

Hello, it might be my fault - I rewrote the part of markup of errorlines (they should be higligted now) and made told the function to ignore some lines of console messages since they definitely do not inclued an error. It was logical mistake and I will fix it tomorrow. Hi Johannes, I think this is actually am older bug. Is related to changes I made to message handling to improve stability. It seems that the thread in charge of printing messages finishes before csound has finished cleaning up. Can you file a bug in the tracker Joachim? Hi, Here it seems to drop the messages at some times quite randomly, so sounds like what Andres said. I guess it has been around for quite some time, I have just taken it as it is, not becoming to think that it was weird :D Also there: http://pastebin.com/vpxFzhFr is a copy paste of one "whole buffer" eg. copy paste from console window, there is also an error message in the beginning that didn't break the logging. It's archlinux. t. Niko 2012/8/18 Andres Cabrera <man...@gm...>: > Hi Johannes, > > I think this is actually am older bug. Is related to changes I made to > message handling to improve stability.
