## [Qucs-help] equation defined device

 [Qucs-help] equation defined device From: Ivan Tikhonov - 2011-05-03 14:51:50 ```I am trying to make simple EDD and failing. Basically, i need to device to eat 10mA when voltage at certain point is above 5V in transient simulation. Problem is: i have no idea how to get voltage from node into device equation. I tried using n.V, n.Vt, just n, added Pr1 voltage probe, and did other dumb things but nothing works, it just says "variable not defined yet". Running on Ubuntu/Lucid with Qucs 0.0.16 release compiled from sources. Here is a circuit: <.TR TR1 1 40 150 0 71 0 0 "lin" 1 "0" 1 "1 ms" 1 "11" 0 "Trapezoidal" 0 "2" 0 "1 ns" 0 "1e-16" 0 "150" 0 "0.001" 0 "1 pA" 0 "1 uV" 0 "26.85" 0 "1e-3" 0 "1e-6" 0 "1" 0 "CroutLU" 0 "no" 0 "no" 1 "0" 0> <420 230 420 290 "" 0 0 0 ""> <330 290 420 290 "" 0 0 0 ""> <420 290 420 290 "Vcap" 450 260 0 ""> ```
