## [Qucs-help] RC Transient Analysis

[Qucs-help] RC Transient Analysis From: Philip Orr - 2008-06-25 10:51:53 Attachments: First_try.sch     Picture 1.png ```Hello! My environment: Mac OS X 10.5.3. Installed Qucs 0.0.14 using MacPorts package manager. My problem: As you can see from the attached picture, when I run a transient analysis on this RC circuit something odd happens. I think I should see the characteristic exponential growth of voltage Vc over the capacitor (time constant is 1 second), but the transient waveform is quite wild! Any thoughts on what is going wrong? Attached picture and schematic. Thanks, Philip Orr ```

It's not wild but nearly 10V always. > Any thoughts on what is going wrong? Set the initial voltage (V) of the capacitor to V=0. HTH, Stefan. ```
