I just downloaded and tried newest MHQuake engine (5.05), and noticed in the readme that it has enhanced tab-completion. Here is a link to the source code: http://mhquake.quakesrc.org/mhglqr5src.zip It lacks some stuff, it doesn't always complete stuff, only if you don't edit manually on the line. But my guess is some of the code could be reused in QF. It also has "close-match-listing". If you want, I could extract and mail only the code needed for this to work (or, I could try, atleast.. I'm no C man). If you want to wait untill after the merge, then it's OK :) No pressure here. But what I want is Visual C project files for newtree. I downloaded MHQuake source code, and was able to compile right away. With newtree, I have to download lots of extra stuff, and make the project files and bla, bla... Thats not good :/ And my guess is that some of you already have them. Why not add them to cvs. Vidar Braut Haarr CoreTrek A/S "Programmers don't die, they just GOSUB without RETURN." |
