The summary on the homepage of Qt4lab says that the aim of
the project is to provide widgets for SCADA applications. Are
there any plans for developing components that actually collect
and monitor the data to be displayed ?

Even if Qt4Lab is a "widgets-only" project, shouldn't there be a
visual state for all the widgets that tells the user :

The Pled-widget you are looking at, is supposed to tell you
wether your bathtub is filled to its maximum level
BUT
because there was network-failure between the
bathroom-server and the kitchen-client, that data is unvailable,
so you better send the service-team out to check for a flooding.

Or to be more serious, shouldn't the PLed-widget rather have 3
display-states: On, Off, NoStateDataAvailable

I guess this applies to all of the widgets somehow.
