A new major release, program now moving towards beta state.
Changes including support for groups, support for MSNP11 with personal messages and current media and major bugfixes
No great changes, just bugfixes, and a start of what will become thread-safe code.
However, some (major) bugs exists in the program:
* It will NOT compile on gcc 3.3
* The key combinations only seems to be working in aterm... I have to find out how to fetch the ALT keys in ncurses.
This version mostly includes bugfixes. The program will not crasch when trying to type in a non existant conversation nomore. Also support for building the program without the library (the library compiled in to the executable)
qMSN is a client for the MSN Messenger network using ncurses, designed to be as userfriendly as possible, yet advanced.
In this first release chatting (of course) is supported, presence changes, and setting the display name. Featerus will grow quickly in the near future, as the hard work constructing the base layout of the program structure is already finished. Features are easily added on top of this abstraction layer, so look for new releases in the near future.
