I'm transitioning over to F/OSS and one of the little-but-important things that I missed was a lightscribe app.
qlscribe works great on my 9.04 Ubuntu system when both LaCie's and Lightscribe's apps failed.

I appreciate your feedback. It is good to know that your software is usefull. Please do not hesitate to post suggestions how to improve in the application or what shoud/could be done more usefull way.

Awesome, have been looking for something like this for quite a long time. Really don't use CD/DVD media much anymore but have a good stock of LightScribe disks and like things to look nice. Installed the .deb on Kubuntu 12.10 works great does exactly what I need it to. Works better and does more than LaCie's or HP's software ever did.
Only suggestion might be to get with K3b to work out a way to call QlScribe from there, they some sort of a plugin architecture.
