In order to simplify management, I have moved several parts of the qBittorrent project to github:
Bug tracker: http://bugs.qbittorrent.org
All domain names should properly redirect to github by now.
The GIT repository was already moved to github a while ago but its URL has changed today because it belongs to the "qbittorrent" organization now instead of my user (cdumez). Developers, make sure to update your repo URL.
I was not satisfied with the MediaWiki on Sourceforge solution, mostly because it is too slow and user rights management is tedious. Also, it appears that hosted apps such as MediaWiki are going to get dropped from Sourceforge soon. I have already moved the content to github and it is much faster. Hopefully, anyone with a github account can edit the new pages now. Please help improve the wiki :)
We have been using Launchpad for a while and it was working OK. However, there is no Launchpad integration with github. The Github issue tracker is probably not as featureful as Launchpad, but we get better integration between the git repository and the bug reports. We can, for example, change the status of bug reports to FIXED by adding (closes #xxxx) to the commit message. It should be simpler to use for the user as well.
Unfortunately, we loose the history by moving to github issue tracker but I think this will make our life easier in the long run.
The Website, mailing lists and the releases remain on Sourceforge for now.
