always interesting to browse some code. But it's a bit off-topic at
the users list. Don't you want to join the devel-list? But since this
is easy to answer by an counter-example, let me proceed:
from pyx import *
... goes into the branch you though it could never be reached.
Hint 1: Don't remove too much code when analysing the program flow.
Hint 2: Do not mix different data sources without providing styles.
PS: The code could be written more readable for sure. I guess it's
quite old. But it does work well and it's not obfuscated (at least
not by intention).
