I might start using the CVS version. It depends. At the moment the CVS version should be quite stable and pretty usable. But sometimes the CVS is badly broken (although those periods seems to rare lately). Overall its usually better to use a patched version of the latest release. Most of the time -- for bugfixes like this -- I can provide a patch upon request. No problem. In the end the question is whether you want to deal with all the problems you may step into when using a in-development-code.
