Sure! It's stable -- I've been using it for well over 2 years now,
and the last bug I fixed was 4 months ago -- and much simpler to
install and configure than the corresponding attempts at Apache
modules. (In fact, I'm thinking about expanding to provide a
mod_pywx, since the Apache modules are so miserable.) The reason
I haven't released a 1.0 yet is because of compilation configuration,
which is still pretty miserable on things other than Linux.
For future plans, I don't know; unless Python changes its embedding
interface, or AOLserver changes something drastic, I don't think
there's any need to change anything. There are some internal components
that could do with a rewrite, but for the moment they're pretty
