have anyone tryed or know if this version of python works with windows mobile 5.0+++??
thinking of buying a handheld, but i rather buy one with windows mobile if this python version works with it. Othervice i guess i can find an old one with windows CE cheap on ebay ;P

Yes it works. I have installed the latest version to windows mobile 5.0 running on Qtek 9100.
Works fine. Support for py file launch works, and also programs support works.
I've tested also tkinter and VensterCE - both works just fine!

I would like to know if there were any special issues regarding correct installation to a WM6 machine, in fact an Eten Glofish x500+ ...

I anderstand that You've patched the existing release to enable both WM5/6 and Smartphone support. Can't wait to test this inside out 8) ...

In the patches section I posted a build for VM5 and VM6 today. It runs, but there are still some issues with it. Check it out.
