the autocomplete doesn't do the things it should do.
have a look at pyCrust in the wxPython distribiution.
there should be enough examples to implement the things
you need in wxPython, because this one is also based on

Aside from the "you should do it like pyCrust does, there

calltips, they will be in 1.4. When you have a function
name then an open-paren, calltips will be displayed in a
similar fashion to pyCrust.
