    Hi.
    I just installed PyPE and really liked the clean interface it has.
    So I wanted to test it funcionally, but I am having a problem.

    When I click "File->New Phyton Shell" nothing happens.
    Log shows:

    [ Wed Jan 16 10:53:54 2008 ] Traceback (most recent call last):

    File "/usr/share/pype/pype.py", line 1674, in OnNewPythonShell

    self.newTab("", " ", 1, 1)

    File "/usr/share/pype/pype.py", line 1712, in newTab

    nwin = interpreter.MyShell(split, wxNewId(), self, None, shell&1)

    File "/usr/share/pype/plugins/interpreter.py", line 130, in init

    pypestc = __main__.PythonSTC

    AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'PythonSTC'

    Same thing happens with "File->New Command Shell"

      The shell works fine with the most recent svn version on Ubuntu Hardy.

      I'm sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. The forums don't notify me when new items are posted, and I haven't come around sf for a while :/

      I'm not able to reproduce on Windows. I'll test on linux when I get into work tomorrow.
