    Hi - just a note -

    In order to get pypar to compile on a Fedora Core 6 machine
    (x84-64 installation,  python v2.4) I had to do two things:

    1.  copy the mpiext.c file into the top-level directory of the unpacked distribution (else it couldn't be found)

    2.  edit the 'setup.py' file, changing the next-to-last line from:

    extra_compile_args=extra_compile_args)]

    to

    extra_compile_args=[str(extra_compile_args)])]

    (otherwise docutils complains that it can't cat a string to a list)

    Then it compiled and ran fine.

    Cheers,

    Lev

      Thanks for your input.
      Can I bother you to ask which version of pypar you used?
      Some of the things you mention may have been fixed already - but I want to make sure.

      Cheers and thanks
