Almost, glut32.dll should be installed in the *system32* folder on Windows, not the system folder (which is IIRC only for Win3.1 compatibility files). If the OP is using a Linux/Unix-ish system (he does say he's got a .so as well, somehow), then my suggestion would be (strongly) use the system's package-manager to do the installation :) . "emerge glut" or "apt-get glut" or something like that should take care of the installation quite nicely. Not sure where the abnormal program terminations are coming from, there really shouldn't AFAIK be any if just GLUT is missing. Have fun, Mike ________________________________________________ Mike C.
