Logic error in buffer swap w/out visual

Buffer is swapped even when there is no visual
rendering pass occuring (such as when only a mouse-
projection render is done). Need to track whether a
visual render has occured and decide whether to swap.
Causes a jitter effect (previous frame swapping in) on
slow machines (or with very complex scenes).
