Couldn't it be a good idea to write a 'hello world' kind of tutorial? Maybe
submit it to macdev @ oreilly net. When they publish a couple of articles
about F-script some time ago, a lot of Cocoa people started to play with
that project regardless of the need to 'learn' a new language ( dougth
F-script ain't ugly ), the same situation with AppleScript.
Python is not just better, but the time you spend with it, it's kind of a
"crossplatform knowledge investment". I think that if pyObj gets the right
coverage it can get a good position in the OSX infrastructure. That's why (
IMHO ) an article to get people started it's more important that some more
formal documentation. After all there is allready some nice documents in
CVS, readable examples and as Bill said, the unit tests are a really good
source of insight ( by the way, his rant was an eye opener...parsing the
comments of a testsuit my last project returned better documentation that
the javadocs for the source =) )
ps. nice work!!!
